Sources at the Posadowa factory farm say that lots of volunteers have shown up with trailers and lorries to take away about a hundred horses to safety.
According to Jagoda Kowalska who is a volunteer and present at the allegedly Danish owned farm, about half of the remaining 200 horses will be taken to foster homes. These are the horses in the worst conditions. The remaining hundred will stay behind on the farm, pending the next control by authorities.
According to Jagoda Kowalska, the police and local authorities have given permission for the evacuation of the horses, and at the moment, the horses on the farm are being evaluated for whether they are healthy enough to stay behind or whether they are eligible for being rescued.
